About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in labor and delivery License: South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP Must-Have: Couplet Care experience High-Risk OB experience Epic experience Description: Position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Shift is 3x12 Nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 for couplets. The position requires every third weekend. On-call requirements include two 12-hour shifts within a six-week period. First-time travelers are accepted. Additional certifications preferred include AWHONN Advanced and STABLE. Candidates must not float between units, but must meet facility needs. RTO must be disclosed at the time of submission. Facility may call off one shift per every two weeks. All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through November. Candidates must complete lab requirements prior to departure if vacation is planned during the compliance process. Modules are non-billable and are estimated to take four hours to complete.
