Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain data platforms, data pipelines, AI/ML workflows, and cloud-based solutions supporting energy industry software products.







Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Houston, TX

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of relevant Software Engineering or Data Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience in Data Modeling and ETL/Data Pipeline Engineering.
• Experience with AI/ML Frameworks and end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong understanding of Software Development fundamentals.
• Experience with System Design and Architecture.
• Full-stack exposure; Angular and Node.js preferred.
• Oil & Gas industry experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and manage end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
• Support data modeling, data integration, and data quality initiatives.
• Design and deploy cloud-native data and AI solutions.
• Implement LLM and Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases/search, and prompt orchestration pipelines.
• Ensure data governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Monitor production systems for reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in architecture decisions for enterprise-scale platforms.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
