Licensed Practical NurseThe Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking self- motivated, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses who possess the skills, knowledge, and desire to care for Kentucky Veterans. Here you will be able to provide direct care for our residents by:Prepare, administer and document medicationsPerform medical treatmentsCheck vital signsFollow policies to ensure our residents are care forDocument all required informationAssist each resident with their needsWe offer flexible scheduling, holiday, weekend and shift premiums, and the Veterans Affairs Nurse Loan Repayment Program. The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care. Must maintain any required licensure (s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
