We are currently hiring for coverage 7 days a week . Applicants may be available for morning shifts, evening shifts, or both.

• Morning Shift: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Position Type: Part-time / PRN

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support for a client in Dyer, IN .

This opportunity may be a great fit for experienced Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, Home Care Aides, Personal Care Assistants, Direct Care Workers, and Private Duty Caregivers who are looking for consistent part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Hoyer lift transfers and mobility needs.
• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and assistance with eating as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and dishes related to the client’s care.
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or needs.
• Use our mobile app to clock in and out and complete required care documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience in home care, private duty care, assisted living, senior care, direct care, or a similar setting .
• 2+ years of caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience as a CNA, HHA, PCA, Home Care Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or similar caregiving role is welcome. CNA or HHA certification is not required for this position.
• Hoyer lift experience is strongly preferred. Client-specific training may be provided when appropriate.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully complete a required national background screening .
• Current TB documentation and CPR certification required .
• Dependable, professional, compassionate, and able to follow an individualized care plan.

Job Details

• Pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour
• Location: Dyer, IN
• Morning Schedule: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Evening Schedule: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Position Type: Part-time / PRN
• FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
• Reports To: Staffing Coordinator
