Critical Care and Stabilization: They administer medications, perform interventions, and provide advanced life support to stabilize patients in critical conditions, such as trauma, cardiac arrest, or respiratory distress. Collaboration and Advocacy: ED RNs collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate patient status updates, and advocate for patients' needs to ensure timely and effective care delivery in the fast-paced emergency setting.
