# Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse (Oncology Critical Care) – Texas**Start Date:** September 22, 2026 **Location:** Dallas, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating shifts (days/nights), 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends; Report times at 0645 or 1845; Patient ratio 2:1**Highlights:** - Specialized 10-bed Oncology ICU caring for critically ill patients requiring advanced life support- Work with sophisticated equipment including ventilators, CRRT, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Flow-track monitoring systems- Collaborative environment with strong physician partnerships and emphasis on compassionate team-based care- EMR system: Meditech- Opportunities for cross-training in multiple ICU settings, Progressive Care, and Bone Marrow Transplant units- Blue scrub dress code; professional acute care environment**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license or compact state license eligible for Texas endorsement- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required- Strong ICU experience with ventilator management and vasoactive drip titration- Experience caring for BiPAP-dependent patients- Preferred: CRRT experience and transplant patient care background (kidney, pancreas, liver)- Ability to provide total patient care including repositioning, dressing changes, and tracheostomy care**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in oncology critical care while developing advanced skills in a supportive, physician-collaborative environment.
