RN – Neuro & Orthopedic Med-Surg | Travel Assignment | Morgantown, WV

We're seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses with Neuro and/or Orthopedic experience for multiple specialty Med-Surg units within a busy Level I Trauma Center.

Available Units

• Neuro Medical-Surgical
• Orthopedic Medical-Surgical

Assignments are based on unit needs and candidate experience.

Requirements

• Active RN License (license pending accepted)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience
• Recent Epic experience
• Experience in either Neuro Med-Surg or Orthopedic Med-Surg
• NIHSS required for Neuro assignments
• Total Joint Replacement experience required for Orthopedic assignments

Patient Population

Neuro Unit

• Stroke
• Seizures
• Neurological Disorders
• Deep Brain Stimulators (DBS)
• Post-Operative Spine
• Neuroscience Patients

Orthopedic Unit

• Total Joint Replacements
• Hip & Knee Replacements
• Orthopedic Surgery
• Fractures
• Post-Operative Orthopedic Patients

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor Medical-Surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments
• Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care
• Document using EPIC
• Float to similar Med-Surg units when required
