Home Health Aide

Home Health AidWe are looking for a Home Health Aid to join our team to work with one veteran for 11 hours/week in the Springfield, OH or Xenia, OH area. You will directly work with the veteran, following a one-on-one care plan in the veteran's home. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building a genuine relationship with the veteran. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets the patient's needs.ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobilesChange bed linens, do laundry, light housekeeping, or assist with personal care if neededMaintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisorBuild a relationship with the veteran by engaging them in conversationProvide medication reminders, conduct blood pressure and/or sugar level checks, and assist with meal prep, if neededQualificationsGraduated from an accredited Home Health Aid program (CNA or HHA)High School Diploma or GEDOne-year prior professional experienceDriver's license requiredCPR certification requiredCompensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour Heart2Heart Home Healthcare, Inc. provides professional, compassionate support services by certified nursing assistants which allow individuals we serve to live safely in their homes.
