Assistant Fitness Manager

About the Role EōS Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and sales‑driven leader to take on the role of Assistant Fitness Manager (Personal Training Sales). The Assistant Fitness Manager will focus on conducting welcome workouts, guiding new members, and driving personal training sales. Position Purpose: Build a cohesive PT team, ensure a healthy pipeline of clients, and provide an exceptional fitness experience. Responsibilities Ensure daily targets are met, especially during weekends or when the Fitness Manager is absent, by leading the team and driving sales initiatives. Promote personal training packages and build strong rapport with members to drive sales. Achieve sales targets for personal training services and small group training sessions, consistently meeting or exceeding goals. Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding and transition into the club experience. Conduct personalized welcome workouts for new members to evaluate their fitness needs and goals. Guide new members through their initial club experience, fostering a positive, supportive environment that promotes retention and engagement. Facilitate professional development for personal trainers through regular coaching and continuous support. Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff members to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities. Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain proper certifications, and implement safety protocols. Qualifications 2–3 years of customer service experience. 1 year of sales experience. 1 year of supervisory experience. Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with members, clients, employees, management, and vendors. Excellent relationship building and influencing skills at all levels and functions. Strong attention to detail; systematic and thorough problem‑solving approach; good time management, organization, and record‑keeping skills. Excellent MS Office skills. Embrace the company Core Values. Requirements Must be available to work nights and weekends. Must successfully pass a background check. Must have a valid Personal Training certification. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Ability to work in a gym setting, move about gym floors and rooms, and communicate with employees, members, and the public. Ability to bench‑lift more than 40 lbs routinely and repetitively. Ability to access and operate the company computer system, prepare documents, enter data, and read reports. Compensation Variable income opportunities including commission and bonus. Post‑training salary increase. Hourly Salary $18 – $20 USD per hour.
