Technical:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
2. Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS) to build courses, assign trainings, and track completions
3. Familiarity with instructional design tools and adult learning principles
4. Experience with HRIS or talent management systems used to track career paths and development plans
5. Comfortable building and maintaining reporting/dashboards on training completion, compliance, and program metrics
6. Working knowledge of OSHA and construction-industry safety training requirements, or the ability to quickly learn them

Tasks:

1. Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the company to identify training needs and design relevant courses and programs
2. Develop, update, and maintain a company-wide training curriculum covering technical, safety, leadership, and professional development topics
3. Design and implement career path frameworks for field and office roles, in partnership with HR and department leadership
4. Partner closely with HR on talent development initiatives, including succession planning, performance-linked development plans, and high-potential employee programs
5. Directly supervise and develop the Instructional Designer and Safety Trainer, providing coaching, workload direction, and performance management
6. Oversee the Instructional Designer's work building courses, e-learning modules, and training materials
7. Oversee the Safety Trainer's work delivering and maintaining safety training programs and certifications
8. Ensure the team maintains accurate, up-to-date training records, including completions, certifications, and renewal dates
9. Track and report on employee progress along established career paths and development plans
10. Manage the implementation, scheduling, and logistics of training programs company-wide
11. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and career path initiatives, using data to recommend improvements
12. Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including course assignments, completion tracking, and reporting
13. Develop and manage the L&D budget in partnership with HR
14. Stay current on adult learning best practices and construction-industry training and regulatory requirements
15. Communicate training expectations, schedules, and resources to employees and leadership across the company

Experience & Education:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field required; equivalent combination of experience and education considered
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, training management, or organizational development, including experience leading or managing a team; construction, industrial, or manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Software: Learning Management System (LMS) administration; Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
• Additional: Instructional design or adult learning theory background preferred; SHRM-CP, ATD-CI, or similar credential a plus; based primarily at company headquarters
