Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Middlebury, Vermont.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 4 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 10, 2026\n Length: 4 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 12-hour night shift role at a critical access hospital, requiring NICU experience within the last year and current Epic experience.Details\n \n 25-bed critical access hospital setting\n Respiratory Therapy Department covering patients across ICU and ED floors\n Patient population spans all age groups, 0-100+, with a preference for newborn and other pediatric experience\n RT manages all ventilators on the unit\n Epic used for documentation and Pyxis for medication management\n 12-hour night shift schedule, typically 36+ hours per week\n Weekend work required, at least every other weekend\n Floating required to M/S, ED, and Birthing Center units as needed\n No call requirements\n Holiday coverage required, including 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day\n Requirements\n \n RRT or CRT certification required (or eligible to sit for NBRC written exam)\n License required if applicable\n AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and NRP certifications required\n Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required\n Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in specialty required\n NICU experience within the last year required\n Epic experience within the past 2 years required\n Detailed documentation of all specialties worked required for consideration\n Additional Information\n \n Trauma Level 3 facility\n Non-teaching hospital\n No block schedules permitted\n Scrubs required with no color preference; closed-toe, comfortable shoes required\n Professional grooming and good hygiene expected\n Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit access\n Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April\n Local candidates accepted\n Radius-based pay rate available for candidates living 50-100 miles from the facility\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-752783.
