Senior Management Analyst (U.S. Border Patrol)

OVERVIEW:

We seek a senior management analyst to support a federal program management office in Northern Virginia. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate trade and travel. As part of our high-performing team, you will augment our vital work to provide “eyes and ears” technology to protect our nation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will provide management support across all of our client’s portfolios to provide an enterprise view of deployment progress. Each portfolio comprises projects that acquire and maintain technology, including communications, sensor, and surveillance systems and the infrastructure that supports them. You will compile management information regarding scope, cost, schedule, performance and quality based on data calls to the portfolio management teams. Representative responsibilities:

•                Manage and report on cost, schedule, quality, and performance goals

•                Coordinate data calls and set priorities, and compile information received into high-level documents

•                Coordinate budget tracking in accordance with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Accountability (PPBA) process

•                Coordinate portfolio status reviews

•                Develop artifacts that enable PMOD to respond to internal and external inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS:

•                Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance use, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.

•                Previous work with CBP’s Integrated Fixed Tower (IFT), Remove Video Surveillance Systems (RVSS), Mobile and Agent-Centric Systems (MACS), or Field Surveillance Services (FSS) portfolios is a plus.

•                10+ years of experience and a Master’s degree in business, management, finance, or information management; or, 12+ years and a Bachelor’s degree.

•                Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

•                Experience with the DHS acquisition life cycle framework (ALF) and systems engineering life cycle (SELC) management processes and the CBP PPBA process is desired.

•                Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

•                Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.

•                Ability to effectively solve problems.

•                Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

•                A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.

•                Prior experience in project management support preferred.
