Job Description
Title
Orthopedic Nurse - Total Joint

Schedule
- Shift: 8-hour shift scheduled between 06:00-17:00
- Weekends: Occasional

Requirements
- Minimum: 1 year combined experience in Ambulatory and OR
- Documented Total Joint replacement experience
- Required: BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
- Active license required at time of submission

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for adult patients undergoing total joint replacement procedures.
- Assist in the operating room with orthopedic surgeries and procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the healthcare team.

Compliance / Notes
- Active (permanent) license must be in hand at submission.
- Two references from within the past year required at time of submission.
- Maximum 7 days of time off; no time off within the first 2 weeks of assignment.
- Pre-start compliance modules may be required.
