Description

Position Summary Under direct supervision, work on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. Perform administrative/physical tasks associated with shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for receiving all deliveries made and allocating them to the correct stock location or department.
• Unload trucks. Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
• Maintain records of shipped and/or received goods and reject unsatisfactory items when necessary. Inspect each product for damage to the outside packaging. Note damages on the Bill of Lading before signing for delivery
• Break down pallets and remove outer packaging, which requires the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Post weights and shipping charges, and prepare goods for final shipment.
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Confirm the quantity received matches purchase orders.
• Receive orders into Finesse and update inventory.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
• Maintain a safety goal of 100%
• Comply with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications Competency Statement(s)

• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Ability to wear a respirator, hearing protection, gloves, and to continually wear eye protection.
• The ability to perform the identified essential functions of the classification, including the operation of any machinery and/or equipment that is associated with performing the essential functions.
• The ability to perform the essential functions of the position in a cross-cultural, demanding, and dynamic environment.
• The ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat of harm to him/herself, others or property.

Education

• High School diploma or G.E.D, Associate's degree, or equivalent experience.

Experience Information Technology Fluency

• Preferred: 1-3 Years of Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook
• Minimum Requirement: General ability in the use of personal computing hardware and software to enter information, such as, pcs, weight, and tracking. General knowledge of processes and tools to maintain, archive, and retrieve digital files. General knowledge of receiving and sending emails

Materials Handling

• Preferred: 4-6 years of Experience managing inventory and the ability to perform regular inventory cycle counts.
• Minimum Requirement: Possesses a general understanding of receiving orders and signing for delivery.

Supply Chain Knowledge

• Preferred: 4-6 years of experience working for a freight forwarder. 4-6 years of experience in the warehouse. 4-6 years of experience driving forklift
• Minimum Requirement: Must be able to differentiate carriers i.e. FedEx, UPS ETC.

Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Speaking in front of groups. Strong time management skills. Self-starter.
• Demonstrated leadership and program management skills.
• Working knowledge of material handling equipment.
• Working knowledge of shipping and receiving protocol documents.
