IT Support Specialist

Requirements Must have High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in a related discipline is a plus. Experience in technical support or customer service, ideally in a help desk setting. Familiarity with Windows and macOS desktops, along with common productivity software. Working understanding of computer hardware and networking fundamentals. Strong customer service, communication, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or ITIL are an advantage. Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, and quick to adapt to new technologies. Able to recognize when to escape issues and collaborate with senior IT staff. Ownership mindset with the ability to manage issues through to resolution. Responsibilities: Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to end users across multiple office locations. Diagnose and resolve issues with hardware, software, networking, printers, and mobile devices. Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, access permissions, and equipment provisioning. Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, laptops, and peripherals, while supporting Microsoft 365 tools such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Administer user accounts in Active Directory, Azure AD, and other business platforms. Respond to, monitor, and close help desk tickets while maintaining strong customer service. Assist with endpoint management, software rollouts, patching, and security-related initiatives. Produce and update IT documentation, knowledge base content, and support workflows. Liaise with vendors and elevate complex issues when required. Contribute to IT projects, office technology rollouts, and infrastructure improvements. Support cybersecurity awareness efforts and help spot potential security risks. Maintain IT asset inventory and equipment lifecycle records. Build trusted relationships with employees and act as a dependable technology partner.
