Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead and motivate a team of bartenders and service staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee food preparation related to bar offerings, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
• Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through efficient stock management.
• Ensure quick service delivery in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
• Supervise food safety practices, manage food handling procedures, and uphold cleanliness standards across the bar area.
• Conduct staff interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and facilitate ongoing training & development initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, and implementing cost-control measures.
• Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork, leadership development, and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings with bar experience preferred.
• Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience within the hospitality or food industry.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
• Background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management is highly desirable.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to train staff effectively and lead by example.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and managing hospitality teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills suitable for managerial roles including interviewing, training & development, and team leadership.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, budgeting, and profit analysis are required.
• Experience in managing kitchen operations or culinary environments is a plus.
• A passion for hospitality excellence with a focus on customer service that creates memorable guest experiences.
