Registered Nurse Acute Care

Acute Department NurseFollowing the Nurse Practice Act and Scope of Service, this position will work collaboratively with the other staff members and medical staff to serve the patients of the Acute Department and function in the areas.Essential DutiesProvides comprehensive, quality care for the patientsProvides age-specific and culturally sensitive care to patientsEnsures the readiness of the Nursing DepartmentCommunicates clearly and concisely with others to meet patient care needsDemonstrates professionalism and takes responsibility for personal and professional growthSupports and participates in hospital wide quality initiativesAdheres to regulatory and compliance standardsAll other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Education (or substitute experience) Required:Current California Registered Nurse licenseBLS and ACLS certificationEducation Preferred:BSNPALS certification preferredMinimum Experience Required:Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experienceExperience Preferred:Minimum 1-year acute care nursing experienceSkillsStrong interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.Strong organization skills and attention to detail and accuracy.Basic computer skillsBear Valley Community Healthcare District Is An Equal Opportunity Employer
