Material Handler - Distribution Associate II

Seeking a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse operations for a global manufacturer in the HVAC and refrigeration industry.
This Distribution Associate II role focuses on material handling duties including receiving, shipping, and inventory management for a global climate control products company. The contract position offers a stable schedule and competitive pay with potential for full-time conversion.
Job Details
- LOCATION: Wilmington, MA 01887
- POSITION: Contract
- PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
- HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other powered equipment safely.
- Perform manual and clerical tasks related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision.
- Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
- Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
- Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
- Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
- Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Steel toe boots required.
- Successful completion of drug test and background check required.
- Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
