Optometrist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Optometrist to join our eye care team. The ideal candidate should exhibit exceptional proficiency and skills within the scope of their licensure. In this role, the individual will be required to perform eye examinations, see post‑op patients, conduct advanced refractometry, and prescribe corrective lenses. This individual will work alongside experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists, and a fully trained team of support staff. Responsibilities Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases. Diagnose and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids. Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options. Maintain accurate patient records and document clinical findings. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and eye care technology. Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice optometry. Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. This position involves working in a clinical setting with access to modern diagnostic equipment.
