Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Butler County ESC Butler County Educational Service Centre - Hamilton, Ohio Employment Opportunity Butler County Educational Service Center June 23, 2026 POSITION: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant STARTING DATE: August 2026 SALARY: Based on Board Approved Salary Schedule WORK YEAR: Full Time and Part Time DEADLINE: Until Filled To assist in providing occupational therapy to students with disabilities while working under the direction and supervision of an occupational therapist. Qualifications: Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant License. Valid Ohio Department of Education Occupational Therapy Assistant License. Valid Ohio driver's license. Knowledge of IDEA rules and regulations, and best practices for the provision of therapy services for children in their least restrictive environment. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of students, families and staff. Access to own motor vehicle during work hours. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and community. Demonstrated ability to work/operate as a team member. History of good job attendance. Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable diseases. Terms of employment: Salary and work year as established by the Governing Board. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District. Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
