Welder

JOB DUTIES:
• Read engineering documents such as prints, routing, and process instructions to weld carbon, stainless, aluminum, and other alloys
• MIG and TIG welding
• Assemble part using proper tools/techniques/fixtures
• Proper handling of measurement tools and completing inspection reports
• Attention to Weld QA (finishes, distortion, etc)
• Forward welded parts to next operation
• Fill out scrap report
• Maintain all equipment in good operating condition
• Track progress in ERP software
• Always keep work area neat, clean and safe
• Safely perform all responsibilities and in adherence to company policy
• Maintain good attendance
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing
• Attention to detail
• Computer knowledge
• Ability to use inspection tools
• Proficient with in position (benchtop) and turntable welding
• Ability to set up MIG and TIG preferable
• Walk and stand for entire shift
• Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted

COMPENSATION BASIS: Hourly DOE
