A well-established Pediatrics practice is seeking a Medical assistant to support our practice on day to day operations. An ideal candidate loves working with children, interacts with the parents, and can make a visit fun and professional, both. Our Medical Assistants interact with both the child and the parents during the exam, so knowing how to cater to both is important. An ideal candidate is having strong multi-tasking capabilities, and can work in a fast-paced environment. An experienced candidate is preferred, however we may consider a strong candidate without experience. Working hours are primarily Monday thru Friday. While Weekend work is needed now, this may be a requirement in the future. Benefits include: Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off, 401(k) etc. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Schedule appointments
- Perform data entry
- Measure and record vital signs
- Clean exam rooms
- Answer phone calls
- Handle vaccinations
