Office Assistant Position - Youngstown, OH

We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable and organized Office Services Assistant to join our Canfield team. This individual plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly and supporting our attorneys, administrative professionals, and guests. Ideal entry level position for a motivated recent graduate and someone looking to start a career path in the legal services area. Primary Responsibilities: Scan and process incoming mail into document management system Process outgoing mail and overnight packages Maintain conference rooms - setup for meetings and breakdown post meetings Order, stock and maintain office supplies and kitchen supplies Perform a variety of clerical duties including, but not limited to, typing, scheduling, filing, and preparing large mailings Scanning and file projects Back-up reception desk Court runs Misc. errands Large copy and scanning jobs Some event planning including ordering and setting up lunches and meetings Skills, Qualifications & Educational Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in the professional services area Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office technology Ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including management staff and support staff Ability to be a proactive self-starter who understands the details within a much larger context Demonstrated attention to detail, reliability and ability to learn new technology quickly Excellent client service skills and ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision The ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines The candidate must also pass a background check as a condition for employment.
