Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing a high patient-to-nurse ratio and performing a variety of clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement nursing care for patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience preferred.
• Current New York nursing license.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and COVID-19.
