Shift Information: Night Shift - 12 Hour - 7 on 7 off

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team within the Respiratory Department. The ideal candidate will perform quality respiratory treatments and testing on patients of all ages, assist with patient and family education, and help develop plans for successful discharges. If you are passionate about serving others through meaningful work, this position offers a critical role in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate and maintain various types of respiratory equipment.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate as part of a healthcare team.
• Work with patients across all age groups, including newborns.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory diseases and medications.
• Conduct various testing, such as EKGs and the 6-Minute Walk Test (6MWT).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a valid state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

Additional Information: Schedule includes 7 consecutive night shifts followed by 7 days off, with a requirement for holiday coverage.
