High School Student Worker

Position Description A high school student employed to perform work as assigned by the supervisor. Position Description A high school student employed to perform work as assigned by the supervisor. Major/Essential Functions Assist senior trades staff with routine maintenance, repairs, and installations in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general facilities work. Perform basic task including measuring, cutting, lifting, carrying materials, and preparing work areas. Use hand tools and power tools under supervision, following all safety guidelines. Help troubleshoot equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and workspaces. Document work performed and report issues or hazards to supervisors. Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and workplace procedures. Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in high school. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working within the Health Sciences Center.
