Cable Assembly Technician

Job Description

Job Duties

Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies from engineering drawings and schematics
Work in a manufacturing environment assembling cables at a workstation
No installation work
Assemblies are sent to Quality after completion
Jobs can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours depending on complexity

Must-Have Qualifications

✅ 1+ year of cable assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

✅ Ability to read drawings and schematics

✅ Experience using hand tools:

Crimpers
Wire strippers
Basic assembly tools

✅ Experience with:

Cutting cables
Stripping cables
Crimping lugs
Crimping pins
Working with connectors
