As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Oxford, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document observations, incidents, and/or unusual activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
