Oncology - Radiation Physician

ATC Locums is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for locum coverage following a provider resignation, offering an excellent opportunity to focus on patient care with a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Opportunity Highlights- Location: Kentucky
- Practice Setting: Ambulatory Radiation Oncology Clinic
- Coverage Dates:
- August
- September 22 October 2
- Ongoing Schedule: Tuesday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM for approximately 6 months
- Call: None
- Outpatient radiation oncology practice
- Approximately 20 patients per day
- No hospital admissions
- Diverse oncologic disease states
- Responsibilities include:
- New consultations
- Follow-up visits
- Treatment planning
- Status checks
- Oversight of treatments
- Tumor conference participation
- SBRT
- IMRT
- 3D conformal radiation therapy
- SRS
- EMR: Epic
- 1 Registered Nurse
- 4 Radiation Therapists
- 2 Medical Physicists
- 3 Dosimetrists
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Kentucky medical license or IMLC eligibility (LOQ in hand)
- Clean background and malpractice history required for emergency privileges
- BLS required by start date; DEA preferred for assignment
This assignment is ideal for a Radiation Oncologist seeking a high-quality outpatient practice with advanced technology, strong clinical support, and a balanced schedule.
