RN - NICU/PICU (Night Shift)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in NICU and PICU to join our team on the night shift. The selected candidate will work in both neonatal and pediatric units, depending on the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and manage complex medical conditions.
• Perform direct intubation and extubation as needed.
• Administer medications and respiratory treatments such as CPAP and BiPAP.
• Monitor patient status and react promptly to any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 3 NICU or 1 year of PICU experience.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS, and RRT are mandatory.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
