Title - Sales Specialist

Hourly: $30-40/hour

Type: 1099/ Contractor - onsite only in Richmond, Virginia

We offer a suite of products that address election management, FOIA management, candidate filing, campaign finance and other critical business challenges in the government sector.

Role:

We are looking for a sales professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Someone who is passionate about democracy and has a desire to help local and state election administrators run successful elections.

Primary Responsibilities

• Outreach via email, phone, social media, conferences and onsite election office visits
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential customers 
• Strong communication skills needed to demonstrate products and services offered by Soch
• You must be a quick learner to learn the products and services offered by Soch 
• Strong communication skills needed to promote/demonstrate products and services offered by Soch
• Travel to conferences and local/state election offices 
• Attend seminars, webinars, and other election related events
• Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences to ensure relevant sales strategies
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

A successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales
• Conferences or trade show experience 
• Ability to work/collaborate with a team
• Strong work ethic with ability to self-manage workload and deliverables 
• Familiarity with CRM software (good to have but not required)
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and very good interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Proficiency in using word, excel, pdf, computer/laptop and online applications
• Strong communication skills and able to demonstrate products during conference and onsite visits to election offices.
• Able to operate non-commercial vehicle for business travel
