Positions are primarily located at the Valley Control Center in Rialto and the Desert Control Center in Hesperia. Each center serves as the primary 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for its respective geographic location. Multiple vacancies exist at both locations. Public Safety Dispatcher Basic Certificate.EXPERIENCE - One (1) year of emergency dispatching experience with a law enforcement agency.Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following:40-hour Computer-aided Dispatching System Training Course CertificateDepartment of Justice certified CLETS courseDepartment of Justice certified DMV courseEmergency dispatching experience with a law enforcement agency within the past five (5) years.Selection ProcessExamination: There will be a competitive evaluation of qualifications based on a review of the Application and Supplemental Questionnaire.
