Real Estate Valuation Analyst

Compensation Range: $45,000 - $75,000; Additional compensation such as bonuses, equity, benefits, or other incentives may apply. Job Summary Real Estate Valuation Analyst within the Valuation, Advisory/Analytics group, based hybrid out of the New York office. Duties include appraisal review, market analysis, cash flow modeling, and contributing to client workflow processes using Argus and Argus ValueInsight. Key Responsibilities Professional development: become Argus Certified and grow knowledge in the commercial real estate field. Hands‑on exposure across property projects; build relationships with internal team members and clients. Prepare cash flow models using ARGUS Enterprise; learn to prepare the Sales Comparison and Cost approaches for appraisal reports. Manage appraisal processes; support client workflow, schedule calls, draft engagement letters with third‑party appraisers. Prepare market analysis, determine rent and assumptions, and apply judgment on valuation assumptions. Review third‑party appraisal reports; analyze cash flow models, verify USPAP compliance, and assess valuation metrics. Participate in On‑Boarding Training, due diligence awareness, and Argus certification development. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field with exposure to the CRE industry. Strong business writing, research, quantitative and analytical skills. Proficient Excel skills (x‑lookups, pivot tables, DCF models); familiarity with ARGUS Enterprise is a plus. Proactive, resourceful, committed to continuous learning and certification. Effective communication, collaboration, and the ability to convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
