Crater Health District is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as a Nurse Manager Senior. Position Overview The Nurse Manager Senior oversees a comprehensive district nursing program, typically through the supervision of Registered Nurse Managers I. Key responsibilities include: Managing district nursing operations, including FTE oversight and budget management Leading long‑term staff development and training initiatives Building and maintaining private and public partnerships Procurement, administration, and management of grants and external funding sources Conducting community needs assessments Allocating resources and ensuring high‑quality service delivery Recruiting, coaching, and supervising nursing staff Serving as a member of the district management team Benefits The Virginia Department of Health offers a competitive benefits package, including: 12 paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Retirement plans, including 401a Cash Match and 457 Deferred Compensation Sick, family/personal, and annual leave This recruitment may qualify for exceptional incentives such as a sign‑on bonus or leave grant, which may be offered with a one‑year tenure agreement.
