About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Credit Portfolio Manager to join its global investment portfolio team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing market views, monitoring credit and spread performance, and defining relative value within the financials sector and broader credit universe. This role requires a close collaborative relationship with the analyst team, generating investment recommendations, and managing the financials portfolio in line with the overall investment strategy. As the Chief Strategy Officer, the candidate will work with the CIO and senior PMs to develop the overall strategy for the investment portfolio, optimizing it across various sectors globally and considering risks on both the asset and liabilities side of the balance sheet. Candidates for this role at the company should have a BSc from a quantitative discipline, economics, or finance degree, with a preference for a CFA designation. A minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience in the financial services industry, including portfolio management, is required. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, as well as experience in advanced Excel, Python, and Tableau. Previous fixed-income experience at a bank or asset manager is essential, and knowledge of portfolio optimization considering the entire balance sheet's duration, interest rate, and spread sensitivity is a positive. The ideal candidate will be a team player, willing to work with global teams, and have a proven track record of making data-driven decisions in a dynamic and innovative environment.
