Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (9:00–21:30) | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) nursing care in an inpatient setting at a Level I Trauma, teaching, and acute care facility
• Manage pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in the primary PACU setting; float to the PACU Holding area as needed, where ratios may be 1:3–5 with patients equivalent to a PCU inpatient floor assignment
• Utilize Cerner for electronic charting and documentation
• Participate in on-call coverage, including an expected 1–2 overnight call shifts per month within a 4-week schedule
• Work one weekend shift per month and two out of three designated holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & the day after; Christmas Eve & Christmas Day; New Year's Eve & New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending RN license (pending licensure may be accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Pre/Post Cath Lab procedure experience required
• Pre/Post IR procedure experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered upon client screening
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Experience in high-acuity or teaching hospital environments
