Loula is seeking experienced postpartum doulas to join our growing network of independent doula providers! You must complete this interest form to move forward in our process! We're excited to hear from you! About Loula With a network of over 500 experienced and diverse doulas, Loula is building the leading provider network for birth and postpartum doula care. We partner with both Medicaid and commercial health insurance plans to make it easier for doulas to accept health insurance without the administrative burden. Loula offers full-service support for Medicaid enrollment, credentialing, insurance verification, medical billing, and payment to doulas in California. By taking on the operational complexity, Loula empowers doulas to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care. We believe every family deserves access to high-quality postpartum support, not just those who can afford to pay out of pocket. Our mission is to help doulas build thriving practices while making it possible for insured families to access the care they deserve. Why Partner with Loula? We partner with our doulas every step of the way: How much can I make? Up to $134/hour of billable time, with rates varying by payer and plan. Direct deposits twice a month. Don't worry about denied claims! We pay you regardless of claim outcomes, so you're never left waiting on payers to get paid. Free, hassle-free credentialing: We get you credentialed with major Medicaid and commercial insurance plans in California, at no cost to you. Client referrals, not cold outreach: Get referrals to insured clients through our client referral/doula matching program. Let our Care Navigator introduce you to amazing clients, no marketing spend required on your end. Build your own practice, your way: You're an independent contractor in a non-exclusive network, so keep your own clients and practice alongside your work with Loula. No minimums, no pressure: There are no client minimums or visit requirements. You decide how much or how little to take on. Admin? Handled: We manage insurance verification, billing, and payment so you can spend your time with clients, not paperwork. You're not alone: Join a network of experienced doulas with access to shared resources, community, and ongoing support. Minimum Qualifications You'll need: 5 years of experience as a doula, with 3 letters of recommendation OR If you've trained as a birth/full-spectrum doula, 16 hours of birth/full-spectrum doula training and attendance at 3 births as a doulaa You'll also need: Adult and infant CPR training HIPAA training Liability insurance If you don't yet have CPR training, HIPAA training, liability insurance, or the letters of recommendation, you can still reach out! We can support you in getting set up with these requirements.
