QA Test Lead (Onsite)Agency Name: Discount TirePlace of Performance: Scottsdale, AZPeriod of Performance: 12+ months (Long term)Scope of work: The Test Lead takes on the testing responsibility for project's success. The role involves quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort. They will lead the testing teams to deliver project testing efforts. The Test Lead will collaborate with Project Managers, and workstream leads to promote, implement and deliver comprehensive testing services for each phase of the software development lifecycle, instill quality assurance methodologies and standards, and apply QA best practices. General responsibilities include development and oversight of project test deliverables, collaborating with project team to drive development of test scenarios, test cases, and scripts while ensuring data quality; develop and report project testing metrics; acts as a consultant in the adoption and utilization of testing methods, tools and practices across the enterprise.Responsibilities:Support quality processes by reviewing testing documentation and adhering to those standards and processesWorks independently with minimal supervision performing project tasksLeads communication regarding Quality processes and resultsAssumes testing oversight of projects in areas of testing deliverables and timeline adherence, risk management, Business testing workshops and status reportingIdentify and mitigate Quality risks as they arise. Communicate quality risk status to all stakeholders in a timely and cogent mannerAssist project resources by answering questions related to testing processes, procedures and servicesEnsures the identification, analysis and documentation of defectsFacilitates project defect triage meetingsFacilitates meetings and conference calls; coordinates and leads test training when applicableMentors, coaches and trains testers when neededCompletes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer serviceReview project solution design, conduct feasibility analysis and determine gap in technical solutions for testingCollaborate publish standards and provide governance for all the deliverables for 3rd party vendorsOther duties as assignedQualifications:8 years of quality test lead experience well versed in project deliverables such as test strategy, timelines, risk-based testing, root cause analysis, etc.Strong knowledge of industry standard testing types Functional, Non-Functional, System Integration, System, Business (UAT, End to End, etc.) testingMulti-faceted leaderExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenSkilled in various methodologies Agile, Waterfall, iterative, etc.Excellent organizational skills ability to access work needed to be done and come up with a plan and timeline on completionShould be detail oriented along with organized, able to track multiple aspects of a project simultaneouslyA strong working knowledge and implementation practice of software development lifecycle and testing toolsStrong enterprise integration experienceCollaboration skills are criticalLeadership and listening skills must be exceptionalAbility to quickly ramp up, will need to be creative on delivering on a fast project scheduleGood understanding of various testing tools and technologies used for test automationIn depth understanding of different functions of testing like functional, non-functional and securityComfortable with Onsite-Offshore collaboration and communication model.About Us:InterSources Inc, a Certified Diverse Supplier, was founded in 2007 and offers innovative solutions to help clients with Digital Transformations across various domains and industries.
