About the Employer

Welcome to Amador County Public Schools! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,000 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. We offer a variety of quality schools including two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools, and six elementary schools.

The ACUSD/ACOE Contract allows 12 years of out of District experience to be granted. Full time employees are required to enroll in a benefits package as part of total compensation (see website, Departments, Business, then Benefits for plan details and rates).

We pay 100% of the induction costs for our new teachers.
