The Mental Health Worker I will:
- Follow the plan of care as directed by RN.
- Communicate information to the appropriate places.
- Perform safe patient care adhering to Policies and Procedures of Springfield Hospital.
- Take responsibility for maintaining and/or increasing knowledge base in area of practice.
- Assist in the management of the milieu in accordance with the policy and procedures to ensure safety and a therapeutic environment.
- Will lead and co-lead groups as appropriate.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training ( preferred )
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training ( preferred )
- Anger Management skills training ( preferred )
- Group leadership skills
- CPR ( within 3 months of hire )
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certified ( within 3 months of hire )
Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
