Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, ensuring safety and comfort. Respond efficiently to patient needs and collaborate with healthcare team members to promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to coordinate care.
• Provide patient education on health management and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Idaho.
• BLS certification required; Chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Able to maintain a friendly, team-oriented attitude and make strong personal connections.
