Medical Technologist Or Medical Lab Technician
As the Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician you will receive or collect specimens for testing; perform chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic and other medical laboratory tests and examinations; operate manual and automated lab equipment for analysis of specimens. Upon hire you would be required to provide a record of a current Flu Vaccine or be willing to obtain a current Flu Vaccine. This is a Night shift position, 7 on and 7 off! Both Medical Technologist (ASCP) and Medical Technicians (ASCP) are being considered for this position.
Key Requirements
Minimum one year experience as a Medical Technologist required along with:
Medical Technician (ASCP):
- Associate degree.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Current Medical Technology Registration by ASCP or AMT.
Medical Technologist (ASCP):
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Current Medical Technology Registration by ASCP or AMT.
Pay Salary Range
Medical Technician- ASCP:
- $30.22-$44.44/hour
- Starting wage dependent upon experience, education, and skill set.
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
- $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
- $4.25/hour weekend shift differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm Friday and 7am Monday.
- Eligible for $5,000 sign on bonus with a two-year commitment. (Internal candidates not eligible.)
Medical Lab Scientist-ASCP:
- $32.68-$48.06/hour
- Starting wage dependent upon experience, education, and skill set.
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
- $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
- $4.25/hour weekend shift differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm Friday and 7am Monday.
- Eligible for $7,500 sign on bonus with a two-year commitment. (Internal candidates not eligible.)
