Experience: 2+ years circulating in multi-specialty ORs, trauma experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

Pay Rate: $61.64/hour

What You'll Do:

Circulate in a busy, multi-specialty operating room including trauma, orthopedics, cardiovascular, ENT, GYN, plastics, vascular, ophthalmology, general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, and robotic procedures
Provide perioperative nursing care during day shifts, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Assess patients pre, intra, and post-operatively, coordinating with surgical and anesthesia teams
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to hospital and AORN standards
Respond to emergency situations with a 30-minute response time for call duties
Complete 23 weekday call shifts per month and one 12-hour weekend call shift monthly
Support a trauma Level II center with emergency and add-on cases as needed

What You Need:

Active RN license in [State]
Minimum 2 years circulating experience in a multi-specialty OR setting
Trauma Level II experience preferred
Epic experience is a plus
Current ACLS & BLS certifications
Ability to work independently during off-hours in a community hospital environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills

This assignment involves providing perioperative nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center that handles a wide variety of surgical cases. The OR team operates on a weekend block schedule, with responsibilities including circulating, patient assessment, and coordination with surgical teams. This role demands experience in complex procedures and the ability to work independently during night shift operations.
