Assistant Residential Coordinator

Job Details: Job Location: Miami Co General - Paola, KS 66071, Residential Assistant Coordinator (Paola) Are you driven by a passion to help others? Are you someone who is organized and a team leader? If yes, Lakemary is looking for an Assistant Residential Coordinator for our Adults Residential Service Program. This position duties include development of staff, ensuring appropriate coverage, planning, directing, or coordinating activities for the program. This role functions under general supervision of a Residential Service Coordinator. Residential Assistant Coordinator Responsibilities: Supervision of Team Leads at assigned sites. Reviews all DSP evaluations with Team Leads prior to presenting the evaluation Conducts evaluations for Team Leads for the assigned sites. Addresses performance issues through consultation, documentation, re-direction and collaborates with Human Resources in regard to formal documentation. Demonstrates effective schedule management with a high level of accountability for controlling and mitigating overtime. Proactively monitors staffing patterns, anticipates coverage needs, adjusts schedules as necessary, and makes sound staffing decisions to ensure adequate support while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Works collaboratively with leadership to identify and implement strategies that reduce unnecessary overtime and promote efficient workforce utilization. Provides support at the sites as needed. Responsible for regularly scheduled on-call support. Facilitates a weekly Leadership Team meeting with your designated Team Leads. Monitor designated sites monthly to maintain quality environments. Ensure Team Leads are completing facility checklists monthly. Complete facility checklist quarterly. An ideal candidate for this position has: Utilization of time management skills. Interpret, apply and explain applicable rules and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of individual served and staff. Respond to requests and inquiries from the general public, family members and support team members. Understand and follow instructions. Efficient time management skills. Establish and maintain effective working relationships. Residential Assistant Coordinator Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Associates Degree or related field. BA preferred. A combination of experience and college coursework may be substituted for degree requirements. Five years of supervisory experience preferred.
