About the Role:

The role of a Teacher is pivotal in shaping the intellectual and social development of students within the Canadian educational system. Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Basic proficiency with educational technology and classroom management techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education or specialized subject area.
• Experience teaching in diverse and inclusive classroom settings.
• Training or certification in special education or English as a Second Language (ESL).
• Familiarity with remote or hybrid teaching methodologies and digital learning platforms.
• Participation in ongoing professional development related to pedagogy and student engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with provincial and national curriculum standards.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and respect.
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing timely feedback.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and special educational needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff to enhance instructional practices and school programs.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
