Job Description

An established manufacturing and distribution operation is seeking an experienced  Material Handler in Royse City, TX. This hands-on position is responsible for safely moving raw materials and finished goods throughout warehouse and production areas while supporting inventory, production, and shipping operations.  Previous stand-up forklift experience is required , and sit-down forklift experience is a plus. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment to safely move materials throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks and trailers, inspect incoming materials, and verify shipments against purchase orders or packing slips
• Transport, organize, and retrieve raw materials and finished goods to support production schedules, order fulfillment, and inventory accuracy
• Assist with inventory counts and audits while reporting discrepancies and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while following established safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Stand-up forklift experience is required
• Sit-down forklift experience is a plus
• Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, or warehouse environments preferred
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and raw material and finished-goods container labels and follow related instructions
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members
• Willingness to follow and support established workplace safety standards
• Ability to work in a  non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly throughout the workday
• Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

The base pay range for this position is $18.00–$18.00 per hour , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
