High School Math Teacher (part-time)

Position Description We are seeking a part‑time, in‑person High School Math Teacher to provide 1:1 instruction during day‑time hours. Location: Wilmington, DE 19803 Type: Part‑time Schedule: Flexible; up to 15 hours a week between 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Additional evening hours may be available. Distance to travel to our center should be no more than 30 minutes. For the 2026‑207 school year. Why join our team? Competitive hourly rate based on experience Flexible part‑time hours Flexibility to build creative, engaging lessons Professional autonomy within a supportive environment Referral program incentives Supportive and engaging work environment What you’ll do: Provide 1:1 instruction in high school math in a school setting Develop tailored lesson plans based on student needs and learning styles Use creative, hands‑on approaches to make the subject engaging and relevant Maintain accurate documentation of student sessions, grading, and progress Communicate with parents regularly Adjust instruction techniques to accommodate students with learning differences Your qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience with high school‑aged students (excluding student teaching) in Math topics such as Geometry, Algebra I & II, Statistics, etc. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required Strong written and verbal communication skills Current experience working with students with learning differences. Ability to pivot to keep student engagement.
