With continued growth and expansion, we are looking for dependable team members who are eager to grow with us.Position SummaryJoseph's Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Technician to join our Quality Assurance team on 1st and 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring food safety and product quality throughout the manufacturing process, conducting inspections and audits, calibrating equipment, and ensuring compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, and company quality standards.This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, ideal for individuals who are analytical, organized, and passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food safety and product quality.Why Join Joseph's?Family-owned company with a collaborative and supportive cultureStable and growing organization with long-term opportunityCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including:Health insurance401(k)Paid holidaysVacation timeOpportunity for professional development and career growth within Quality AssuranceKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor food safety and product quality throughout the production processPerform daily GMP and internal quality audits throughout the facilityVerify corrective actions and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standardsConduct finished product inspections and quality checksPerform monthly Glass and Hard Plastics audits and maintain required documentationCalibrate production equipment, including scales, water meters, flour meters, thermometers, and pH metersConduct cleaning inspections, metal detector CCP checks, and cleaning chemical titrationsCollect and prepare product samples for laboratory testingComplete daily quality reports, temperature logs, and other required documentationPromote a clean and safe work environment while supporting SQF, GMP, HACCP, and company quality programsCollaborate with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Management to maintain food safety and product qualityPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications & RequirementsPrevious Quality Assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment preferredKnowledge of Quality Management Systems, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety programs preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and product qualityAbility to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeFrequent bending, reaching, climbing stairs, twisting, and repetitive movementsAbility to lift and carry materials as neededAbility to perform equipment calibrations and production inspectionsWillingness to work on 3rd shift and support production operations as neededSchedule1st and 2nd ShiftFlexibility to support production activities and business needs as required.Additional InformationThis is a full-time onsite position located in Lawrence, MA.Relocation assistance is not available.Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.Equal Opportunity EmployerJoseph's Middle East Bakery is committed to creating an inclusive workplace and providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
