Automotive Parts Clerk – CarVix Tampa

CarVix is opening a new location in Tampa, Florida, and we are looking for a reliable and organized Parts Clerk to join our opening team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new operation and help establish an efficient parts department from the ground up. If you are organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and have automotive parts experience, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

• Receive, organize, and distribute automotive parts and supplies
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and keep the parts area organized
• Order parts and follow up with vendors and suppliers
• Verify parts received against invoices and orders
• Match parts to the correct vehicle and repair
• Work closely with technicians, inspectors, and management to ensure parts are available when needed
• Track special orders, returns, cores, and warranty-related parts
• Assist with identifying the correct parts for different makes and models
• Maintain accurate records of parts usage and inventory
• Help control parts costs and minimize unnecessary purchases
• Keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient
• Follow company procedures for purchasing, receiving, storing, and returning parts
• Support the overall vehicle reconditioning process

What We’re Looking For

• Previous automotive parts experience is required
• Previous automotive technician experience is preferred
• Experience in a dealership, repair shop, or automotive reconditioning environment is a plus
• Knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, responsible, and punctual
• Good computer skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, management, vendors, and other departments
