Licensed HVAC Team Leader

Air Masters is a well-established commercial HVAC company looking for an experienced Lead Service Technician. We service southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island and handle installation, service, and maintenance of all makes and models of HVAC equipment. This position will primarily service Mitsubishi & Daikin VRF & ASHP systems, various RTUs, cooling towers, boilers, and VAV systems. Pay will be based on experience and certifications. This role involves a significant amount of prevailing wage work. $2,500 sign on bonus Essential Duties and Responsibilities Service, install, and maintain HVAC equipment, including Mitsubishi & Daikin VRF & ASHP, RTUs, cooling towers, boilers, and VAV systems. Qualifications and Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years commercial HVAC service experience. Minimum 3 years HVAC system installation experience. Motivated and enjoy working in the HVAC industry. Journeyman refrigeration license in either MA or RI. Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. EPA universal certification. Valid driver’s license. Must possess hand tools. Good communication skills. High school diploma. Skills in controls installation and troubleshooting or a willingness to learn. MA or RI Refrigeration license (preferred). Work Environment This position requires the employee to work both inside and outside. The employee may be subject to loud noises and hot and cold temperatures while on the work site. Work Schedule This is a full-time 40‑hour position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Travel: daily travel to job sites throughout MA and RI. Physical Demands Lifting weight up to and over 75lbs. in both vertical and horizontal motion. Crawl, stoop, stand, reach (push/pull), and bend to perform necessary work. Able to ascend and descend on extension ladders, step ladders, and stairs using feet and/or hands and arms. Able to drive a company vehicle and walk around at job sites. Reading, computer input, typing, and answering the phone. Clarity of vision at both over 20feet and under 20inches. Able to judge depth (distance & space relationships), have a good field of vision, and identify and distinguish colors. Adjustment of eye to bring object into sharp focus.
